In Kolkata, there are various slums which are the homes of thousands of children who come from that background. Some slums are even developed but not all come under the category. Many children living in slums have to beg for their living.

When we go straight from the New Alipore Petrol Pump, there is a place called Taratala, which is an intersection road. In the morning some children started begging within a kilometer range of Taratala, and the number of children increased from the afternoon till the evening time.
